Borobudur is not only a temple, but this is a real Javanese area with a beautiful landscape, fresh air and peaceful environment. Once you visit Borobudur area you might think that you will visit a magnificent Buddhist temple only. That's not wrong if you think so, since usually a travel agent or even your tour guide (book) only focus on the story and history of the temple. Borobudur temple is spectacular, indeed. It contains of stories, history of the country, Buddhist philosophy and even an ancient's Javanese life.

Borobudur temple is attracting everybody, not to visit only but to explore and learn all things about the temple and the area. The villagers activities are so natural, a Javanese typical daily activities. Most of them are farming in agriculture, Cultivating rice and crops. But today people a bit change their life to work at hotels and resorts and the rest move to the big cities, and even abroad.
